Koteshwor-Jadibuti Corridor Bridge
Kathmandu, Nepal
Project Overview
To ease the daily gridlock between Koteshwor and Bhaktapur, Vajra constructed this 4-lane, 120-meter pre-stressed girder concrete bridge over the Hanumante river. The foundations involved sinking bored piles 25 meters deep into the soft riverbed. The project was completed two months ahead of schedule, facilitating smoother traffic flows for millions of commuters daily.
